PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lowering agent for uric acid value derived from a natural product ingestible without anxiety and a food and drink having lowering effects on the uric acid value. SOLUTION: This lowering agent for the uric acid value comprises a tea polyphenol derived from tea as an active ingredient and the food and drink has the lowering effects on the uric acid value. The uric acid value in a state of hyperuricemia can effectively be lowered and returned to a normal value by ingesting the lowering agent for the uric acid value and the food and drink. Since the lowering agent and food and drink can be administered to anyone over a long period without anxiety, the lowering agent and food and drink are extremely useful as a therapeutic agent for basically treating the hyperuricemia. |
