<p>The iterative interpolation method involves arranging multiple image areas in matrix shape. A start-motion vector is provided and quality criterion for the start-moving vector, which depends on image information values of a group of image areas, is determined. The group of image areas has an image area in two images and an image area in the image to be interpolated. The moving vector is selected different from the start-moving vector and quality criterion for the moving vector is determined.</p> |
