<p>The method involves determining a theoretical conveying length of threads (9) based on a surface speed of thread nip rollers (10). Deviation of the theoretical conveying length is detected from a reference-conveying length, which corresponds to a distance between a spinning device (2) and a sensor device (26). The deviation of the theoretical conveying length is compared with a preset threshold value of a valid deviation. A filtered threshold value is evaluated and signalized as an indicator of a non tolerable wear of a pressure roller (14).</p> |
