DISK DRIVE DEVICE AND DATA REWRITE METHOD THEREOF

A disk drive device and a data rewrite method thereof are provided to prevent a read error in a narrow track pitch by rewriting data on each track of the group of tracks and on the adjacent track if the number of write operations exceeds a threshold. A data rewrite method for a disk drive device comprises the steps of: counting the number of write operations for a group of tracks including continuous plural tracks on a recorded surface of a disk; and rewriting data on each track and on the adjacent track if the number of write operations exceeds a threshold.
