An IC for protecting reverse engineering is provided to prevent hacking by inputting a signal, which is continuously varied, to plural comparison signals. An IC(Integrated Circuit) includes an active shield(110), a comparator(130), and a determinator(140). The active shield receives a test signal and outputs plural shield signals through plural signal paths. The comparator compares the test signal with the shield signals and outputs at least two comparison signals according to the comparison result. The determinator compares the patterns of the two comparison signals and outputs a determination signal which represents that the active shield is attacked according to the comparison result.
