A communication-restrictive emergency phone and a method for operating the same are provided to prevent an unauthorized person from communicating with the third person without permission and to enable a permitted engineer to change an emergency phone number or the arrangement of key buttons in a remote place. A communication-restrictive emergency phone includes a communication circuit part(100), a control part(110), a hook switch part(120), an audio part(130), a key button part(140), a memory part(150), a DTMF receiving part(170), and a DTMF generating part(160). The communication circuit part transmits and receives emergency communication signals. The control part accesses the communication circuit part, controls emergency communication, detects illegal communication, generates a warning signal, and records an inputted emergency phone number. The hook switch part accesses the control part, and provides communication start/stop indication signals. The audio part confirms the input of a command signal according to the control of the control part, and outputs a tone signal to warn of illegally occupied communication. The key button part accesses the control part, and inputs command signals to operate the emergency phone and a command signal to appoint a specific person selected for emergency communication. The memory part records and outputs an emergency phone number according to the control of the control part. The DTMF receiving part receives and detects emergency phone number information which is remotely inputted from the other side who calls the emergency phone. The DTMF generating part outputs the phone number of an appointed person's emergency contact point according to the control of the control part. |
