An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain a wide viewing angle and obtain a spatially-uniform multi alignment state. A first alignment layer(114) is formed in a first substrate(110). A second alignment layer(124) is formed in a second substrate(120). LC(130) is interposed between the first and second substrates. The first alignment layer includes a horizontally aligned layer area which is rubbed in one direction, and a vertically aligned layer area which is not rubbed. The second alignment layer includes a vertically aligned layer area which is not rubbed. The LC is divided into first and second areas. The first area is the vertically aligned layer areas of the first and second alignment layers. The second area is the horizontally aligned layer area of the first alignment layer.
