A mobile phone lens definition auto inspection apparatus is provided to grade lenses by displaying and storing data on definition of the lens. A mobile phone lens definition auto inspection apparatus includes an MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) chart(20), a sensor(S), a lens loader(30), an X and Y axis moving unit(40), a Z-axis moving unit(50), an inspector, and a controller(70). The MTF chart is formed on the bottom of a light panel in a frame. The sensor is formed below the MTF chart and receives pattern image from the light panel. The lens loader is interposed between the MTF chart and the sensor and arranges the lens to test. The X and Y axis moving unit moves with the lens loader along X or Y axis to align the axes of the lens and the sensor. The Z axis moving unit moves along Z axis to move the lens on the lens loader within a focusing range of the sensor. The inspector consecutively reads data on MTF values changed by the distance between the lens and the sensor. The controller takes control of the sensor, the X and Y axis moving unit, the Z axis moving unit, and the inspector, and picks out defective lenses.
