<p>The bar has a sheet metal body elongated in a direction, where the body is bent along a bending line extending in the direction, so as to define a bending region. The body is provided with a zone of reduced material thickness, where the zone extends along the bending line in order to form the bending region. The zone of reduced material thickness is formed before the bending process is carried out, during the bending process and a rolling process resulting in material displacement. The zone is formed by a recess provided along the bending line.</p> |
