A display apparatus, a method of driving the same, and an electronic apparatus thereof are provided to suppress characteristic deviation of a driving transistor by ensuring sufficient time needed for performing compensation. A display apparatus includes a pixel array unit(30) and drivers. The pixel array unit includes an optical element, a write transistor for sampling and writing an input signal voltage, a storage capacitor for maintaining the input signal voltage, and a driving transistor for driving the optical element based on the maintained input signal voltage in the storage capacitor. The drivers selectively scan respective pixels of the pixel array unit, perform threshold value compensation on variation of a threshold value voltage of the driving transistor during a horizontal scan period, and perform a ready operation which gate and source voltage levels of the driving transistor are fixed into a voltage level before the threshold value compensation. |
