A device and a method for making a design with a GUI(Graphic User Interface), and a recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to reduce time/expense needed for developing a product and enable a designer to understand a precise shape of the designed product based on the GUI by verifying the design and the designed product at the same time. A design unit(130) generates a design and a simulation model of an object. A GUI provider(120) displays design data, design variables, correlation data and the generated design on a graphic screen. An analyzer(140) simulates a model and determines whether a simulation result satisfies a predetermined reference. An input unit(110) receives control commands, function selection commands, the design data, the design variables, and the correlation data for controlling operation of a designing device(100). The design unit generates the design by using the design data, and generates the simulation model by using the design variables and the correlation data when the simulation result is satisfied.
