A connector receptacle is provided to absorb a twist force applied to the connector receptacle by protection protrusions according as plural terminal are disposed between the protection protrusions in the width direction to prevent the terminals from being separated from a PCB, thereby reducing the share area of the connector receptacle on the PCB and increasing coherence between the connector receptacle and the PCB. A connector receptacle includes a metal shell(11), a post holder(8), plural posts(9), plural terminals(10), and a pair of protection protrusions(21). The metal shell has an internal hollow space and a front opening through which a plug is inserted into the inner hollow space. The post holder grasps plural metal conductors disposed, in a width direction of the metal shall perpendicular to an insertion direction of the plug, and is fit to the internal hollow space of the metal shell. The plural posts are formed at a front end portion of the metal conductor, are protruded forward from the post holder in the internal hollow space of the metal shell, and are disposed in the widthwise direction of the metal shell. The plural terminals are formed at a rear end of the metal conductor, are bent to have a soldered surface(10a) soldered on a soldering land of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), are protruded forward from the post holder, and are disposed in the width direction of the metal shell. The pair of protection protrusions are protruded to the outside of the insertion direction of the plug from a rear end of a bottom board(13) of the metal shell so that the terminals disposed in the widthwise direction are positioned between the protection protrusions. |
