TWO-WAY CURRENT DETECTOR WHICH DETECTS THE CURRENT FLOWING BOTH THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE DIRECTIONS USING THE POSITIVE DC SUPPLY SOURCE (1) ALONE (WITH SINGLE SUPPLY SOURCE), VIZ. WITHOUT EMPLOYING THE NEGATIVE DC SUPPLY SOURCE; AND A MOTOR DRIVING DEVICE USING THE ELECTRIC CURRENT DETECTOR ARE OFFERED. THE CURRENT DETECTOR INCLUDES THE POSITIVE DC SUPPLY SOURCE(1); A FIRST RESISTOR (2),A SECOND RESISTOR (3) AND A THIRD RESISTOR (4) CONNECTED IN SERIES; AND DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFYING MEANS (5). WHERE, ONE END OF THE FIRST RESISTOR (2) IS CONNECTED TO THE POSITIVE DC SUPPLY SOURCE (1), ONE END OF THE THIRD RESISTOR (4) IS GROUNDED, THE CURRENT TO BE DETECTED IS SUPPLIED TO CONNECTION POINT BETWEEN THE SECOND RESISTOR (3) AND THE THIRD RESISTOR (4), THE DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFYING MEANS CALCULATES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VOLTAGE AT THE CONNECTION POINT OF SECOND AND THIRD RESISTORS (3,4) AND A CERTAIN SPECIFIC VOLTAGE; AND RESISTANCE VALUES OF THE FIRST RESISTOR (2), SECOND RESISTOR (3) AND THIRD RESISTOR (4) AND THE CERTAIN SPECIFIC VOLTAGE ARE SET SO THAT THE CONSTANT TERM IN ARITHMETIC FORMULA OF THE DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFYING MEANS (5) TURNS OUT TO BE POSITIVE.
