<p>A stepped processing method of a tempered glass is provided to achieve processing of the same thickness in the whole section of stepped portions without attaining excessive processing at corner parts. A stepped processing method of a tempered glass for a display device includes a step of ejecting an abrasive through a nozzle(16) during a transferring step of a tempered glass loaded on a truck or conveyor unit(12) to form stepped portions along edges of a finished product, wherein the tempered glass is processed while a maximal distance between the nozzle and tempered glass is set upon initial processing of each edge, the gap gets narrower than the middle point of each edge, and the distance between the nozzle and tempered glass becomes wider than an corner.</p> |
