An apparatus for growing edible sprouts having a plurality of germination units for separating a seed leaf and seed hulls while allowing passage of plant sprouts is provided to be simple in structure and fabricate and easy to wash and sterilize and to remarkably increase crop yield. An apparatus for growing edible sprouts comprises: a body comprising a plurality of germination units containing a seed receiving space(11), a separation hole(12) for separating a seed leaf and seed hulls while allowing passage of plant sprouts germinated in the seed receiving space into the separating hole and a partition hole(13) for partitioning the seed receiving space; a seed receiver(20) for receiving falling plant seed sown in the seed receiving space; a pad(30) positioned between the body and seed receiver and ensures smooth water supply to the plant seed; and a coupling device(40) to couple the body, pad and seed receiver up and down. |
