A fluorosilicone polymer, and a curable composition having utility as a release coating which contains the polymer, are disclosed, said polymer having the structure T(F(CF2)aC2H4CH3SiO)x(RCH3SiO)y(QCH3SiO)zT wherein T is a monovalent group selected from triorganosiloxy radicals or hydroxyl radicals, R is a monovalent group selected from hydrocarbon radicals or substituted hydrocarbon radicals, Q is an alkenyl radical having 4 to 8 carbon atoms, a is an integer having a value of at least 4, x, and z are integers, each having a value of at least 1, y is an interger having a value of 0 or at least 1, with the proviso that (x + y + z) >/= 50, x/(x + y + z) >/= 0.25 and z/(x + y + z) </= 0.1. |
