<p>A method for manufacturing an MgB2 superconducting wire is provided to obtain a stabilizer having functions of rapidly discharging resistance heat or flowing residual current generated at the superconducting wire without additional pipes or a process of inserting a superconducting core material. A method for manufacturing an MgB2 superconducting wire includes the steps of: manufacturing the MgB2 superconducting wire by continuously supplying a coating material(11), forming the coating material in a shape of U-shaped tube, welding a sealing portion of O-shaped tube after powder filled coating material is formed in the O-shaped tube, and passing the tube material into a plating tub(9) containing conductive material; continuously supplying reinforcing material; forming the reinforcing material in a shape of U-shaped tube; inserting the reinforcing material in the shape of U-shaped tube using one strand of an MgB2 superconducting core material(10); welding the sealing portion of the O-shaped tube after the core material inserted reinforcing material is formed in the O-shaped tube; and pressing or drawing the welded tube.</p> |
