The navigated signal unit (1) is placed at the forearm of an endangered person to be monitored. A sensor unit (2) is provided with a detection unit, where a signal processing unit (3) is provided. A communication or alarm unit (4) is provided for communication, where an input or output unit (5) and a power supply unit are provided. The communication unit has a Global positioning system (GPS)module with antenna and a Global system for mobile communications (GSM)or General packet radio service (GPRS)modem with antenna. An independent claim is included for a method for detecting and processing vital signs, body movements and body position of an endangered person to be monitored in emergency and risky situations and during accident events.
