A turbo compressor is provided to produce large capacity of compressed air by forming a multistage compression system. A turbo compressor comprises a first compression unit(100) and a second air compression unit(200). The first compression unit includes a first motor(111) using an inverter(130), a couple of first air compression devices(110) and a first intercooler(120). The second compression unit includes a second motor(211) using an inverter(230), a couple of second air compression devices(210) and a second intercooler(220). The second air compression device receives air, which is compressed by the first air compression device, from the first intercooler. The first compression device is installed at two sides of a rotary shaft(112) of the first motor and includes a left impeller(113) and a right impeller(114). The second compression device is installed at two sides of a rotary shaft(212) of the second motor and includes a left impeller(213) and a right impeller(214). The left impellers have the same capacity as the right impellers.
