The method finds application in preparing raw-materials for food, wine and tobacco industries, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. The protein hydrolizate has a reduced content of salts and toxic metals, such as lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, manganese, nickel, copper. It is prepared by enzyme hydrolysis with subtilisin as alkali proteasa at a mildconditions, calcium chloride being added in advance to the initial biomass. The prepared hydrolyzed mass is filtered, and the filtrate is subjected to ultrafiltration by a semi-permeable membrane.
