Methods for the treatment and prevention of mammalian protozoal diseases, such as, for example, toxoplasmosis, malaria. African typanosomiasis, Chagas disease, and opportunistic infections comprise administering the compound alone, or in combination with one or more antiprotozoal agent(s).
