Application of the invention in the subject refers to the expandable strap for packing anti-fire barriers. Invention herewith explained solves the problem of obtaining an elastic, adjustable anti-fire strap which, depending on the temperature developed and being exposed to, can expand by increasing a volume even up to 1250%, sealing therewith efficiently all the openings on anti-fire barriers that it is set to. Expanding strap, according to the invention, is obtained by being poured over with a glass water 6,6 mass % of glassy matt 93,4 mass % previously set in plastic moulds and being of precise horisontal levelling, and hereupon during fourteen days solidification of in such a way obtained mixture at the temperature of 25°C is being done.
