FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to graft copolymers applied in hair care cosmetic compositions. Graft copolymers are produced within radical graft copolymerisation of a) N-vinylformamide; b) one or several copolymerisable monomers of general formula (I) where n is 0.1, and R1 and R2 independently denote H, C1-C4alkyl, CN, COOH, for graft polymer basis; c) of general formula where R=H, CH3 n-5-50000.
