FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns metallurgy field and can be used at steel melting, alloys and pure metals in electric vacuum furnace. Furnace contains copper water-cooled crystalliser with liquid bath, remelted electrode with mold-moving mechanism, heat source for melting of electrode butt and heating of liquid bath of crystallising ingot, pulling head of welded up ingot, at that all equipment of furnace is located into vacuum chamber. Heat source for melting of electrode butt and heating of liquid bath of crystallising ingot is implemented in the form of one or several lasers. ^ EFFECT: improvement of obtained steel and reduction of capital expenditure for equipment. ^ 1 dwg |
