FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods of tests of prepared timber in the form of special assortments, in particular, resonance blocks from fir timber. Method of ultrasonic test of resonance timber logs includes measurement of ultrasonic parameters in working zone of resonance timber log with the help of sensor and receiver of ultrasonic waves with tips of conoid shape. Log is installed on support between sensor and receiver of ultrasonic waves and tips of conoid shape of sensor and receiver are installed at height that exceeds thickness of sapwood log timber and approximately in the middle of working zone of resonance timber, from which further resonance boards are sawn for music instruments, at that tops of conoid-shaped tips are installed parallel to support so that axial line between conical tips of sensor and receiver stays on one of annual layers in working zone of resonance timber log. ^ EFFECT: reduction of labour intensity of tests and losses of valuable resonance timber. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg |
