A method of providing information on operations of transportation using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) is provided to allow a user to confirm information on buses rapidly and correctly using an RFID reader included in a terminal and RFID tags attached to bus stops and buses. An RFID reader included in a terminal reads RFID tags attached to bus stops and RFID tags attached to buses(S11) and transmits information on the buses to a central control system(S12). The central control system confirms the current position and running speed of a bus closest to the bus stop where a user is located, calculates a time for the bus to arrive at the bus stop and a time for the bus to reach the final destination and forms information on the operation of the bus(S13). The information is transmitted to a user terminal(S14). |
