A display device is provided to implement various designs by manufacturing substrates of various shapes and sizes with glass or plastic. A display device includes a substrate and a transparent plate(210). A display element(200) is formed on the substrate. The transparent plate is in contact with the substrate and has a larger size than the substrate. The transparent plate seals the display element. A transparent conductive material(220) is formed on the transparent plate. The transparent plate is made of glass or plastic, and the transparent conductive material is ITO(Indium Tin Oxide), IZO(Indium Zinc Oxide), SIO2, or ZnO.
