摘要 A frequency sensing method for a cognitive radio terminal is provided to reduce implementation complexity of the cognitive radio terminal and to offer software or firmware-based TADE(Tap Amplitude and Delay Estimation) algorithm. A frequency sensing method for a cognitive radio terminal is a tap amplitude and delay estimation method for efficient iterative frequency identification in the cognitive ratio terminal requiring frequency or network identification performance to identify available radio service and system. A downlink system used in the method includes a transmit RRC(Root Raised Cosine) filter(10), a mobile radio channel(20), an adder(30), and a receiver. The adder superimposes AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise). A transmitter includes the transmit RRC filter having a roll-off factor. The receiver includes a receive RRC filter(40), an AD converter(50), and a tap amplitude and delay estimator(60). The receive RRC filter has the same characteristics as the transmit RRC filter.
