Subject: construction of a floating highway or avenue in a safe and economical manner.Constitution: floating isolated wharfs (floating elements-pontoons) made of reinforced concrete in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped or any other type (fig.1,2) with inflated polystyrene embedded therein (fig. 2, 2). The floating wharfs (pontoons) are connected via joints (fig. 4,5) and bear rings for their fixing via anchoring means or pilings (fig. 6) as well as channels for the housing of lighting systems (fig.2, 5). For the passage of crafts, the floating bridge opens and closes upon articulated overlapping of one part (fig.7). A protective safety railing (fig.3) is set lengthwise the highway. Other embodiments: construction of pedestrian zones, cycling tracks as to requirements. |
