A hinge device of a sliding swing-type portable electronic device is provided to enable the hinge device to be semi-automatically swung as moving in sliding manner during sliding operation, thereby easily performing sliding swing operation of a sliding housing as quickly conducting swing operation. A sliding member(31) enables a sliding housing(20) to slide, in connection with each of housings. A swing member(32) slides/moves the sliding member as combining the sliding member to enable swing operation in a semiautomatic way. A guide unit(33) is equipped on the body housing, and guides the sliding housing for sliding movement as guiding the sliding housing for swing operation in a semiautomatic way.
