#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a movable locking element constituted of a slug (33) and cooperated with a locking housing that is constituted of a boring (613) and formed on a lower surface of a transfer tooling element e.g. lower star wheel (210). The locking element is moved between a locking position in which the locking element is cooperated with the locking housing and the tooling element is connected to a packing machine, and an unlocking position in which the locking element is not cooperated with the locking housing and the tooling element is disassociated from the machine. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for connecting a transfer tooling element e.g. lower star wheel and lower inlet/outlet guide (claimed), on a packing machine e.g. filling machine, plugging machine and labeling machine, that packs a product e.g. agri-food product, cosmetologic product and pharmaceutical product, in a container e.g. box, bottle and vial, where the element introduces and guides the container in the machine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The locking element and the locking housing rapidly and efficiently connect and disconnect the transfer tooling element on the packing machine without using a tool and complex connecting parts, while simplifying the task of an operator. The locking housing is formed on the lower surface of the transfer tooling element, thus preventing the dirtying of connecting parts and the transfer tooling element and facilitating the cleaning and the maintenance of the tooling elements, and hence preserving high hygiene level and concerning certain standards of hygiene. The connecting device is adapted to all types of the packing machine and tooling elements. The device is easy to implement and manufacture in a cost effective manner.
