A method for providing contents service in data broadcast is provided to allow a user to receive various contents by using a panorama function, a multi-view function, a sound positioning function, a grid in/out function and a zoom in/out function. A data broadcasting receiver receives a broadcasting signal from a data broadcasting server through a broadcasting network(S200). The data broadcasting receiver executes an application included in the received broadcasting signal and connects to a return server by using URL(Uniform Resource Locator) included in the application to acquire meta data(S202,S204,S206). The meta data is executed to display a main menu on a screen(S210). When a panorama function is selected from the main menu(S212), a panorama image included in the broadcasting signal is displayed on the screen and moved in every direction according to a signal inputted from a direction key(S214). |
