MICROWAVE REPEATER SYSTEM FOR WIRELESS NETWORK

A M/W(Microwave) repeater system is provided to check a coupling degree of a microwave antenna and whether or not an antenna circuit has an error, and facilitate diagnosing and maintenance of a repeater system. A doner RF(Radio Frequency) unit(100) converts a received forward signal into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) or RF signal and transmits the same, and transmits a reverse signal inputted via a doner M/W unit(200) to a BS(Base Station)(50). The donor M/W unit converts/amplifies the received forward signal into a microwave band frequency and transmits the same, and converts a reverse signal received from the remote M/W unit into an IF or RF signal and transmits it. A remote M/W unit(300) converts the transmitted forward M/W band signal into an IF or RF signal and amplifies it, and transmits the transmitted reverse signal to the remote M/W unit. A VSWR(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) measurement unit is provided in the donor M/W unit or in the remote M/W unit and checks a coupling degree of a microwave antenna and whether or not an antenna circuit has an error. A current detecting unit controls power flowing through a coaxial cable connecting the donor RF unit and the donor M/W unit or the remote M/W unit and the remote RF unit.
