A video message storage system during video call connection and a method therefor are provided to enable a sender to leave a video message to be delivered to a receiver during video call connection, thereby saving time necessary for the sender to leave a message. A call is attempted while a sending terminal is connected with a sending video storage server(S100). As a video message starts to be recorded with a camera, a recorded video is transmitted to the server(S200,S300). It is confirmed whether a call with a receiving MSC(Mobile Switching Center) which conducts a call attempt is connected(S400). If not, the video is continuously recorded(S500). It is confirmed whether a signal indicative of call connection is received(S600). If so, the stored video is transmitted to a receiving video mailbox server(S700-S900).
