A method and a system for transmitting a broadcasting signal are provided to improve reception performance of the broadcasting signal transmitting system irrespective of a channel condition by decreasing inter-correlation between channels. A broadcasting signal transmitting system includes a multiple I/O encoder(450), a network selector(460), a frame forming unit(470), a modulator(480), a front end(490), and a transmitter(495). The multiple I/O encoder encodes input data in multiple channels. The network selector selects a transmission path of the encoded data and outputs the data. The frame forming unit converts the selected data into a transmission frame of a corresponding signal. The modulator modulates the transmission frame data. The front end converts the modulated data into an analog signal. The transmitter transmits the converted signal.
