摘要 A real-time transient stability criterion and fault propagation protection method using a time-synchronized measurement signal in a power system is provided to prevent fault propagation to other generators by determining transient stability from time-synchronized effective power measured in real time. A real-time transient stability criterion and fault propagation protection method using a time-synchronized measurement signal in a power system includes the steps of: obtaining time-synchronized voltage, current, and mechanical input in real time; calculating effective power of generators from the obtained discrete voltage and current in real time; calculating power of a group generator and determining a fault by adding the power of the generators; calculating a deviation between the mechanical input and the power of the generator when the fault is determined, determining as acceleration force when the mechanical input is larger than the power of the generator, and determining as deceleration force when the mechanical input is smaller than the power of the generator; calculating acceleration energy and deceleration energy by integrating the acceleration force and the deceleration force for a predetermined time; comparing initial acceleration energy with first deceleration energy; excluding the generator by determining as transient stability when the initial acceleration energy is larger than the first deceleration energy by an operation unit(40); and outputting and storing the results by a data output and storage unit(60).
