Many beer breweries have in past years developed and manufactured a low-alcohol or alcohol-free beer, especially for car drivers. As a result of the new methods, the actual beer taste is lost to a greater or lesser extent. In the case of the mixing-tap installation for drinks which I have developed and am applying to patent, high-percentage beers can be mixed with alcohol-free beers or other drinks immediately before tapping. In the tapping process, the taste may well change, but the drinks retain their full aroma. If, for example, normal pale beer with an alcohol content of 4.8% is mixed with malt beer with an alcohol content of 1.2% in the same proportions, i.e. same pipes and same pressure, the result is a low-alcohol beer with an alcohol content of 3%. Mixing drinks, for example beer with malt beer or also fruit juices, is already being practised. This process is, however, carried out by hand. According to the handling of the landlord, the respective components are different. As the drinks also have different temperatures, the individual taste is lost to an extent and the "mushroom head", desired by beer drinkers, disintegrates. The drinks often taste flat and stale. By mixing the drinks immediately before the tapping process, the full aroma and the "mushroom head" are preserved. The storage possibility is not impaired.
