The circuit has a photosensitive region (1a) with adjacent photosensitive elements e.g. photodiodes, to capture light, and a processing unit region (1b) to process signals provided by the elements. An electrical contact pad (2) is symmetrically arranged in the processing unit region, which is juxtaposed with the photosensitive region. The contact pad is arranged on rows in a periphery of opposed sides of the processing unit region, and is placed in length direction of the photosensitive region. The contact pad is connected to a die pad (12) of a printed circuit of a flexible substrate (10).
