A manufacturing method of a large sized package case for an optical module is provided to enhance economical efficiency by minimizing a thickness of a panel and reducing a manufacturing cost. A large sized package case for an optical module includes a frame structure having a base panel for storing an optical module and a side panel(120) for protecting an attack from the outside in order to protect the optical module. In a manufacturing method of the large sized package case, a molding process is performed to mold a panel. A first brazing process is performed to form a frame of the panel. A glass sealing block(150) is prepared independently from the first brazing process. A glass sealing process for the glass sealing block is performed independently from the first brazing process. The block is fixed on the panel.
