Seismic source with adaptive adjustment and corresponding method

The source has an oscillation generator (1) for producing oscillations, which are coupled. A controller i.e. adaptive controller (3) is connected with the oscillation generator at an output side, and controls oscillation parameter of the coupled oscillations. A frequency generator (6) is connected with the adaptive controller on the output side, and supplies a frequency variable frequency signal to the controller. An independent claim is also included for a method for coupling broad band seismic oscillations in underground.
