<p>A station information notification method using short range wireless communication is provided to prevent users from missing their destination stations and increase the utilization of mobile terminals by providing the present station information to a mobile terminal user through a short range communication method, such as Bluetooth. Each master device, installed at each station, transmits an identification code for each station through short range wireless communication(100). A slave device, installed at a transportation unit, receives an identification code, and determines the present station information on the basis of the received identification code(102). The slave device serves as a master device to transmit the determined station information to a mobile communication device, adjacent to the transportation unit, through short range wireless communication(104).</p> |
