APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING OF UPLINK FEEDBACK DATA IN BROADBAND WIRELESS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

An apparatus and a method for transmitting of an uplink feedback data in a broadband wireless mobile communication system are provided to improve a resource efficiency of an uplink selected feedback channel by transmitting feedback information to a base station through the selected feedback channel. A method for transmitting of an uplink feedback data in a broadband wireless mobile communication system includes the steps of: measuring a downlink channel(501); classifying a total tile within a feedback region of a whole frequency band into a predetermined number of groups(503); selecting one group having an excellent downlink channel(505); selecting a predetermined number of tiles of the group and mapping the feedback data to be transmitted(509); multiplying the feedback data mapped to each of the selected tiles by a user identifier code, and transmitting the multiplied result to a base station(513).
