A medium take-out device is provided to securely take out a medium by sufficiently pressing the medium with a take-out roller even when the medium is loaded in a receiving unit in such a way that a center part is curved toward a medium pusher and both ends are curved toward a bottom plate. A medium take-out device(1) includes a medium pusher(5). The medium pusher has an inclined surface to press a medium(P) and a vertical surface in contact with a wall surface of a take-out direction of the receiving unit. A length(L2) from an intersection of the inclined surface or a surface extending from the inclined surface and the vertical surface or an extending vertical surface to an upper end(5d) of the vertical surface is longer than a length(L1) from the intersection to a contact point of a take-out roller(6) and the inclined surface. The medium pusher is mounted on the highest medium of the receiving unit.
