<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antishoplifting system that can check for shoplifting of articles for sale in each store. <P>SOLUTION: Radio communication devices 7, 9 and 11 are installed in positions to read article-attached ID information in a noncontact manner from respective articles containing articles 4 displayed on article racks 2, articles paid for at a cash desk and articles carried out from a store exit. An information processing device 13 comprises means for receiving ID information from each radio communication device, registering means 20 for relating and registering, when ID information is received, the ID information and installation position information with which the installation position of the radio communication device that has transmitted the ID information can be located, in an article information database, and determining means 23 for determining, when ID information is received from the reader at the store exit, whether the ID information has been received or not in the article information database from the radio communication device installed at the cash desk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
