<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of smoothly performing operation of an elevator when a power failure occurs irrespective of a load condition of the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: This alternate current elevator is constituted in such a way that it is provided with commercial power supply 1, an inverter 3 operating by electric power from the commercial power supply 1 to generate alternate current electric power, and an electric motor driven by alternate current electric power generated by the inverter 3 and it is further provided with a battery E capable of charging and discharging, a charging/discharging circuit for making the battery E charge and discharge, and a control circuit 9 including a discharge regulation means for controlling an input voltage into the inverter 3 using a predetermined voltage command as a target value by controlling the operation of the charging/discharging circuit to charge the battery by regenerative electric power from the electric motor and supply the electric power generated by the battery E to the inverter 3. It is provided with a detection means for detecting a power failure of the commercial power supply 1 and an easing means for easing a discharge regulation means during a predetermined time T after detecting the power failure by the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
