A mild cleaning composition comprising an anionic, non-ionic and / or amphoteric surfactant in combination with a first dye (or dyes) and encapsulated second dye(s) having a different colour from the first. The composition is intended for use in personal care compositions, manual dish washing compositions, light duty detergents and toothpastes.
