A method for manufacturing a display device is provided to improve light emitting efficiency and a lifespan of luminescence by enhancing film density of a thermally transferred transfer layer. A method for manufacturing a display device includes the steps of: forming a transfer layer containing organic light emitting material on a support substrate through coating(S11); heating the transfer layer on the support substrate(S12); and thermally transferring the heated transfer layer to a device substrate. The transfer layer is heated at a higher temperature than a glass transition point of the organic light emitting material and a lower temperature than a melting point of the organic light emitting material.
