A circuit for providing a precharge voltage is provided to generate a precharge voltage with small variation as controlling the level of the precharge voltage according to the variation of PVT(Process, Voltage, Temperature), by constituting a bleeder resistor using a MOS transistor and a resistor. A transistor(N31) is connected between a firs node supplied with a first bit line precharge voltage and a second node supplied with a second bit line precharge voltage, and operates in response to a control signal. A resistor(R30) is connected in parallel with the transistor between the first node and the second node. The second bit line precharge voltage is supplied to a bit line of a sense amplifier for precharge. The second bit line precharge voltage is generated by dropping the first bit line precharge voltage through the resistor or a transistor turned on in response to the control signal. A logic part(300) generates an enable signal by receiving a test mode signal. A switch device(34) switches between the first node and the second node in response to an output signal of the logic part.
