A multistage sliding hinge unit in a mobile phone is provided to make a mobile phone slim by enabling a slider to make a sliding motion up and down along a multistage slope. A multistage sliding hinge unit in a mobile phone comprises an upper slider(320) and a lower slider(310). The first slope(325) and the second slope(326) are formed in the upper slider. The upper slider comprises one or more settling grooves(322-324) to connect between the first slope and the second slope. The lower slider is settled at the settling grooves. The lower slider moves while being elastically supported by an elastic body(315) along the first sloe or the second slope. The elastic body comprises a guide roller. At the guide roller, a recess part is formed along the outer circumference of the guide roller.
