A digital multi-device is provided to predict the approximated final termination time of a printing process quickly before a copying process is started, and predict the precise final termination time of the printing process quickly when the copying process is started. At least two processing units process at least two different processes. A job end time calculating unit(37) predicts a termination time of the process performed by one processing unit based on a processing time needed for the process performed by other processing units when the process performed by other processing units is suspended while one processing unit performs one process. Priority is assigned to each process. The job end time calculating unit predicts the termination time of the process performed by a first processing unit when the process performed by the first processing unit is suspended by the process performed by other processing units having the higher priority than the first processing unit.
